About this happening
Ifocus Mission - Jaithra Yatra Team conducted an interactive workshop on positive lifestyles for first-year engineering students at Spoorthy Engineering College, Hyderabad. Mentors from the ifocus mission guided students on self-branding, family support, and building a power circle of positive peers.
The session centred on the profound importance of cultivating a positive lifestyle and understanding its long-term influence on both personal and professional development. Driven by a vision to empower youth, premiers from the Ifocus mission enthusiastically participated as mentors and speakers. They engaged the freshers through practical, discussion-driven sessions.
The core discussions revolved around three critical pillars of modern student life:
Self-Branding: How students can consciously shape their unique identity, values, and professional reputation right from the first year of college.
Family Support: Recognising the vital role of family as an emotional and psychological anchor that helps students navigate academic challenges.
Power Circle: The strategic importance of surrounding oneself with positive, growth-oriented peers who motivate and elevate one another toward excellence.
The workshop was highly collaborative and deliberately moved away from the traditional lecture format. Several first-year students voluntarily shared their feedback, highlighting how the practical insights shifted their perspective on daily habits, time management, and the choice of peers.
The ifocus Jaithrayatra team extends its heartfelt gratitude to the management, faculty, and student coordinators of Spoorthy Engineering College for providing this valuable platform to inspire the next generation of engineers.
